There are plenty of those. Good game devs still do promotion for their games, it's part of their job. The ones that don't come out the learning phase simply are the ones who don't take that effort (enough).
And again "worth buying" doesn't apply to games that are free to play. And if anything that just incentivises them to make ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mincrotransactions just to meet these asinine requirements.
