Already bought a game on console
I was just wondering if anyone else ran into this situation before and wanted to gauge whether it may be worth while asking Valve to add an option to steam to say that you've already bought the game on console.

So basically, while I'm checking out my queue, steam will often suggest a game I actually do like, but as it turns out I purchased that game already on console. I kinda wish there was an option that said, "yes steam, you are correct in assuming I want this game, but I already bought it for console" In thoery, I want to tell steam yes, keep suggesting games like this, but don't show this particular game to me again since I already own it.

Also I think it would be interesting if we could gather numbers on how many gamers purchase a game on console first (since I've noticed a small trend where games release on console before being released on PC) vs. gamers that wait until the PC release.

anyhoo, just a thought, and apologies if this was already posted, but I didn't see a post like this before.

If you mean the discovery queue, just click on next, it will most likely be treated as neutral, and other games you may want, which are similar, will push your personal queue / store in that direction anyways.

You can also go the other way around, and just filter out stuff you do not like to see:
https://store.steampowered.com/account/preferences
(remember to scroll down to Discovery Queue as well).

For your statistics, well, you would probably need to start a large scale survey. I never heard of anything publicly available in this regard.

Cool! I didn't realize there were preferences like that, thanks.

And yeah, I end up just clicking next through the queue in hopes that it was more of a neutral thing, glad it seems to work out that way.
