(Argentina) We cant buy with Debit Card VISA (HELP)

I dont know where else to go. In the Spanish section we are discussing this over and over and no answear from Valve. Here in Argentina we are having an issue: we cannot buy with debit cards. Previously to the Currency Covertion to Pesos or "ARS", we could with no problem use this method. But now theres an error that states that the bank entity does´t allow the purchase , which is completly false because not only we could in the past but we have recently called to our banks and they said that international purchase is allowed. Furthermore: we discovered a sort of method that enables the use of debit card: instead of choosing Visa (nacional), the debit card we have, we choose Mastarcard (nacional) and the purchase can be completed. Like WTF? My card is VISA but it is read as Mastercard? for everyone else its the same.

But you may ask: "well..u can buy games stfu". Well, no. It turns out that after a certain number of purchases this method discovered doesnt work anymore.

Please Valve!! i want to buy games but you dont let me. And with all the huge deals available!

I'm from Argentina too and we all have the same problem, but the Steam Support doesn't seem to understand it because we receive only standart responses.
Please fix our problem with VISA Debit Card, it's the only card with problems. And before the change of prices we didn't have any issue and the payment was fast and furious. So, we all believe that the problem is Steam, not our banks.

Your currency on steam was changed to what ever it is in your area and that is the only currency that will work with purchases. It doesn't matter if your card allows international purchases, steam only allows your local currency. It is for good reason, you would have to contact the developers about pricing.

wha? i think u got the wrong thread. We are stating that we CANT BUY GAMES with debit card. Nothing else, nothing more. The pricing of things has nothing to do with this.

We CAN'T BUY GAMES with VISA Debit card. That's the problem we are all having. And nobody in steam support answered yet. The sale ends in two days..
