If your steam profile was in that game, for instance, a game of CS:GO where someone takes a screenshot of the scoreboard, you can find that screenshot.
Not just your friends, but anyone who takes a SS.
Not extremely neccessary, but would be a cool and interesting feature.
Not hard at all lmfao. Using my example, if someone takes a screenshot of a scoreboard, the screenshot then just tags the 9 other steam profiles which were connected in the game. Or stores it in the possible section of 'screenshots i was tagged in'
Screenshots already tell us the exact date, time, file size, creator - and we can see when we're in game who we're currently playing with - who we played with in the past. Valve is a company worth multiple-billions, if you don't think they have a small team, or a singular person who could implement something of this simplicity in under a day, then... idk.
It works for Team Fortress 2. Not sure about other games.
I thought i'd seen it once - but definitely not many times, especially on the games I play.
Also It would have to be built into the game, so you would have to build into the game something that would let steam know that you are looking at the scoreboard at the time the screenshot was taken. This means asking every dev to update their games with it. Along with getting Valve to do it and getting valve to put in stuff to help people stop receiving spam.
Not to shut down your whole first paragraph, but a simple 'unsubscribe from these notifications' just like you can do on this discussion would suffice, no?
It's already a feature in steam.
Here is an example. It names the steam user in the shot and that image appears on the users activity feed.

But how come only one person gets tagged then?
1- it's fully automated
2- you cant edit it
3- the user in the image cant add anything to the tags
Ooooh so because his crosshair is on the player (yolo_baby) that's the guy who gets tagged?
