setting to disable touchpad

Could you maybe find a way to make a setting to disable the touch pad when starting a game, and then re-enable it when the game is closing? It would be helpful for those who are playing on a laptop, and not playing on a desktop like myself whose desktop is in need of some repairs.

This idea came from when i would play a game and then i would brush against my touchpad and then it would cause the game act up causeing me to either click or turn for almost a full 180.

This was just an idea, this would also help people when they go on vacation and only bring a laptop.

does your laptop not has fn key to disable it?

It does, but for some reason it has not been working, and i cant make any kind of macro key to disable it, or at lease i cant figure out how to do so.

program i guess.. i looked up how to fix it, but what it said to do didnt work

hmm idk then but your suggestion is not a good idea because all laptops has a disable key. idk why its not working on you

yes, but that doesnt just suddenly make this a bad idea. And technically not ALL laptops have this feature. most do, yes. However most and all are not synonymous.

is it an asus laptop?
install ATK package, then your FN shortcuts work again and you can disable the touchpad ;)

did that, still doesnt work.... i followed all the steps, still cannot disable the touch pad.
