why are you hiding the shopping kart?
you want us to buy games and spend money on steam, right?
so what exactly is the reasoning behind HIDING the shopping kart even though i just added something to it?

how come the shopping kart buton is hidden on the wishlist page?
thats where i usually go on a shopping spree, checking if some of my wishlisted games are on promo... and then i want to check out and buy them but the shopping kart is hidden on that page... what gives? :)

Because the wishlist is on the community, not the store.

becuz valve decided to give up on steam and not letting people waste their money on this junkyard anymore
How nice that they're now finally keeping people away from wasting money on this haunted market full of pointless sale. Those green tickets with number and percent being wrote on was such a nightmare

It's strange but basically there are two Steam sites -- the store and the community. You may notice this in the URL -- store.steampowered.com vs. steamcommunity.com .

Your wishlist is part of your profile, and your profile is a community page.

Could they reorganize it? Yes.

But, yeah, this is why it's like this as of this moment.

It also forces you to transition from the wishlist to the store pages to add games. Which in turn allows Steam to assert you were provided with a chance to read all applicable terms and conditions and thereby cover themselves legally in the case you make a silly purchase.
