As to the "sort by hard drive" comment, I've just tried adding categories for my games based on their location, (e.g. "Library - USB", "Library - C", etc), and I am happy with the results. I have to remember to manually reassign categories when moving and (un)installing games but it's not a chore, and my games list now allows me to see what games are where - even when the USB drive is not connected

Thanks, both of you. I've been trying to clean up my C drive and this has helped so much. I never leave 'detail' view so I wouldn't have found this on my own.
I know I'm posting this 3 years too late, but thank you for this info, Made it so much easier to juggle the Driver sizes with big Steam games. Thank you ^^
That option is gone in the Library update. Only size on disk remains. You'll have to check each games own properties to see which drive it is on when the update goes live. Sorry.
Beta already has it back.
