Load any amount of money in the Steam Wallet
I wanted to load in on my steam wallet but I don't meet to the FIXED price. I want a loading method for the Steam Wallet to just enter in the amount needed and then just press a button and you're good to go!

this is unlikely to happen esp because of the transaction fee which would make valve lose cash with chumps change wallet top-ups

An option could be that, if you live in a country with PaySafeCard available, you can buy the thing you want and, only at the moment of paying, enter your PaySafeCard code. That way, only the amount effectively wanted by your steam buy is taken from your PaySafeCard wallet.
Worked everytime for me.

Gader, I have Visa so... I still wish any amount was valid

Zetikla, heh we dunno about that. Still wish LORD DISCOUNT ( Gaben ) Adds this kind of thing.

I think you can still do it with enhanced Steam, but there is a $5 minimum that will likely not go away for some of the reasons stated above.

Is this gonna be a no because of the first comment?

correct. there are fees on all transactions. valve would lose money if the amount were less than $5.

This argument doesn't make sense if he intends to load over $5 which is implied...

They could simply allow you to specify any amount over $5

Fixed amounts, while being moderately customer unfriendly, are much better for the profit margins. Given that the few people really annoyed by it are more likely to use enhanced steam or edit the page code rather than quit shopping on Steam all together, there's no incentive for Valve to change this and plenty of cash telling them to keep it.

Yep, this is going down. ( that was fast. )

because most purchases with a fixed amount would leave small amounts of leftovers in a users wallet effectively collecting interest for valve.

Yes, I know that Steam gets money from some split money for the other game companies and Steam itself and I thought there was a reason for the FIXED Steam Wallet loads.
