Steam guard white list

I would like to be able to switch my steam guard on my phones whenever i want and not get 15 days banned FROM TRADING SERVICE EVERYTIME

sorry. not going to happen. it is a security feature that must be in place.

If it can be turned on and off, then it becomes pointless. Also Valved already tried leaving control of stuff like that in the hands of the users...

People turned it off and left it off, and then complained when their accounts were hijacked. Yes valve can say too bad you turned it off its your own fault, but they would still have to deal with a HUGE volume of messages to support and on the discussion area.

And once peoples accounts are hijacked, they also have to put up with a higher volume of people complaining about being scammed out of stuff too, because they are going to use those accounts to scam people.

So this is why they are not going to allow you to just turn it on or off at will.

Turn it on, leave it on if you want to do any trading at all.

You're right but you didn't understood the situation, i left it on but because of a bad manipulation of the support, i turned it on and off on the same phone during like 1 minutes.
Now i'm a reddit trader wich is loosing profit

seems like your keyboard is also broken.

it is easy to manipulate and fake mac and ip addresses. this is why that is NOT taken into consideration. *and never will.

i suggest you read whats in the link and buy a new keyboard.

Imo that should be improved, every devices has a specific ID so when steam guard is associated to this device, the device should be white listed even if it takes turned off

I'm talking about phones
