Changing the speed of a song on a steam soundtrack

I had an idea if you could be able to play any song or an entire playlist of song gs speed in case people want to expirement in speed changing.

If you want to change the speed of a song, you can do so with various tools -- changing playback speed using foobar2000 using the SoundTouch plugin, or I think you can permanently change a track's playback speed and save it that way using Audacity. If you can do that, you can also insert that back into Steam's music player and have the sped-up track played.

Changing it on the fly in Steam or in-game would require a program (game, media player, or otherwise) that does that natively, currently.

Implementing such a feature in Steam shouldn't be too much work, though probably a low-priority thing.

Steam is not and nor should it be a audio editing software. Heck I don't even think it should have a player built in, too much bloat already.
