STEAM MOVER HELP!
As the title describes... I could use some guidence regarding Steam Mover.

I've got a 60gb SSD with Win7 Ultimate installed and a 1TB 7200 HDD. Windows is using up 30gb a ssd space and I've just dowloaded Hitman, which weighs in at 25gb. My SSD is now showing only 1gb of free space.

My question is.... If I 'Steam Move' Hitman to my HDD. Will Hitman, and all other moved games run as normal when launched through Steam using the junction created by Steam Mover?

Will the only difference be a slight decrease in loading times etc?

I'm thinking of keeping games like Skyrim, BL2 and Farcry 3 on the SSD but running other non open-world type games from my HDD junction created by Steam Mover..

Anyways.. Thanks in advance. J

Yes and yes :)

The current Steam beta has a new feature to keep Steam libraries in multiple places on your PC though. If you chose to use that feature you don't need these tools anymore.

Depends if you're fine uninstalling/reinstalling (downloading) whenever you want to move a game from/to the SSD though, if not then Steammover certainly still has it's uses.

Good point Pheace.. Steam Mover is great for just selecting the games you want to play that session on SSD. I've got 100gb worth of games sat on my HDD ready to flip over to the SSD with Steam Mover. When I've finished playing that game it only takes seconds to send it back into HDD storage! Or I can just play from either disk location. 'I love you Steam Mover!' lol
