Black Ops 2 wont launch

Just dowloaded and installed Black ops 2 but the game wont launch. When selecting any of the three games (singl, multi,zombies) the steam launcher comes up but then a windows pop up says: Call of Duty (R): Black Ops II has stopped working.

Havent even been able to get to a mene screen yet. Anyone have any ideas on the issue and fix for this?

Hey guys I was having the same problem, I googled & installed a programme called Orochi-CEG, there were two files, one of which allows you to add BO2 game file. It says its a tempory fix & my bios need updated, but it works 100%. Does anyone know anything of this programme?

i know what to do i buyed a antivirus scan
and i did fast scan

now i can play again . i had 8 problems so i did my scan and now i can play

hey buddy satoru .. i have this problem also .. black screen with launching .. i cant make black ops2 work i rly gave up for trying but i can make bf3 and black ops 1 work as perfect with ultra graphics ... i swear to god i tried the all solution with re-install and with verifying ..but still i cant make this game work .. this problem driving me crazy

my laptop spec :
corei7-3630qm 2.4ghz
nvidia 640m with 2 gb dedicated vram
6 gb ddr3
750 gb hdd
win 7 64 bit

plz some one answer me qiuckly as soon as u can ..

there stay steam is not working

looks its worked .. i swear to god idk how .. yea i did scan by antiViurs and after this it did work .. but anti didnt catch any viurs .. and iam not sure its fixed by this solution .. but thx anyway TFR
