US/EU Key Codes - Can we play together?

I have a chance to get a couple of key codes for a decent price but there's a catch. One is a North American code and the other is a European code. My buddy lives in Denmark so this works out well... but would be still be able to co-op together? Or will it be on separate servers/locations and we won't be able to find each other? Thanks in advance!

It might help if you tell us which game you are talking about :-)

Also make sure you are buying these codes from a trusted source.

Yes, I am. No worries on that. I just want to make sure we'll get a chance to play. The game is Inversion

I'm afraid I don't have that game, so I can't be certain, but according to this post on the old forums, as long as your friend is in your Steam friends list you should be fine. There do not seem to be regional restrictions as far as I can find on search.

Fair enough, I'd just had to invest in this and find out that it's not working. If anyone can confirm one way or another, that'd be fantastic. Thanks!
