You really didn't need to put every single detail down but you should be able to run most games on pretty high settings.

Maybe about 2-4 years ago this is a good question but these days the newer laptops can run just about any game, u shouldn't have any worries about that

High on older titles [1-3 years back], medium to low for new titles

Key is to consider your GPU, which is a mid-range GT 640m.

Agree with Shocks.
The "Aspire" isn't a gaming computer as much as a process computer for people doing business type work, has the memory to run multiple process but the graphics aren't great.
Best bet would be to upgrade your graphics card.
I run an i5 Unlocked Quad Core 3.9GHz, GTX 650 SC 2GB(x2) with 8GB Memory.
i can run all the new games on there highest settings.

If you lower your graphics settings everything else should keep up with the newer games fine.

If you are looking for specific games then just go to 'Can I run it' and choose the game and it will tell you if you can run it.

when u play games try to monitor your gpu temperatures (if u got expertool u can see that under fan control)..u might want to make sure u don't exceed the safe temperatures...thats my main worry when it comes to gaming on laptop...i once seen an acer (2004 model) wich slowly melted the case ..got all soft and then deformed
