team fortress 2 help
how do i voice chat with the microphone, i turned it on but when i click v and talk, nothing happens

Check your Windows mic settings, your Steam mic Settings (Steam Settings -> Voice tab) and, finally, the TF2 Mic settings.

Go to your main Steam client window - the one with the Store page. At the top left, click "STEAM". Then click "Settings". On the new window, there are six tabs along the top. The final tab is "Voice".

On the TF2 main menu, there is an Options button. Click that. A new window will appear, with some tabs along the top. If I remember correctly, one of those tabs is "Voice Communication".

Make sure you exit and reopen TF2 after any edits you make to the Windows or Steam microphone settings.
