Grand theft auto 4 DXSETUP.exe - Bad Image

Whenever I try to start up GTAIV i get the first time start up window and a error saying that C:/Windows/system32/VssTrace.DDL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Help please, I'd really appriciate it.
