Gamefly

I see that gamefly is having some awesome sales now and I want to get HL2, HL2 Episode 1 & 2 and portal. Will I be able to play these games from my steam account? Do I have to do anything to set it up so I can play from Steam?

I can't seem to access the page. But it should say you will get a key and you can redeem it on Steam. I am almost certain you will get a key you can redeem on steam. You don't have to do anything extra

You will have to download steam to play them anyway so whatever gamefly gives you which I would assume would be a cd key of some sort you can activate in steam by going to the menu.
Games > Activate a product on steam

I'm not sure how PC games work on gamefly but I can only imagine they are selling the PC download and not the rental right? Cause renting it for $5 seems like a ripoff when it's cheap already heh.

Yes, they are selling the download. HL2 and Portal for $2.49 and HL2 Episode 1 & 2 for $1.99. thanks for youe help.
