Portal 2 startup error

Sorry but i think that's unacceptable!! I bought portal 2 and after download it , it crash at the start! i've redownloaded 2 times and now i don't know what to do! please help me!

yeah i know that i'm not alone. We bought this game so why can't us play it? If someone know what we have to do please say it!

Exit Steam by going to Steam->Exit at the top left of the client, then restart Steam, if that does not work, right click on the game in your library, select properties, then in the Local Files tab select 'Verify integrity of games cache'

If you are still having problems then please post your PC specifications

ok kiya so i've checked my driver and i've updated them but it still continu to crash. I'm really fed up and i hope you know what to do.

Sorry I am out of ideas - if you have not already done so, contact Steam support and ask them for assistance.

They have been experiencing high ticket volume for a while now and the current Sale won't help with that so it will probably be a few days before you get a reply.

Your problem is you are using a single core 1.8Ghz processor there is no way that's going to run that. Unless you listed it wrong that thing is ancient man

The min requirement for processor: Processor: 3.0 GHz P4, Dual Core 2.0 (or higher) or AMD64X2 (or higher)

it's a dual core! (actually i've 3.2 Ghz)

Then you must have listed it wrong would have to be an AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ to be rated at 3.2ghz
