While their policy is "No refunds", Steam Support have been known to give refunds in very specific circumstances. Getting a refund is highly unlikely but shouldn't be ruled out completely.

If your computer is locking up, that would point to a hardware problem. What power supply do you have?

oh sorry its a 550 watt power supply.
And you have the chance.. you have played the game..
