You can make a purchase for less than $5 with a credit card. Your question was about adding funds (Steam wallet). The minimum Steam wallet purchase is $5.

You do that in the TF2 Mann Co Store.
However, you need money in your Steam Wallet, where the minimum addition to your wallet is $5.

The discussion you just posted on is over a year old, and I dont plan on buying anything from the store any time soon without using a steam card or adding like, 20$, thanks anyway.
