Isues with Train Simulator 2013 preorder download

Hello all
I have issues with downloading my preordered Train Simulator 2013:
it is stuck at 85% and steam client shows "PLAY" icon next to it!

Even if details says: 4.245.5Mb/4966.8 downloaded.

It simply wont continue and it refuses to go above 85%
I tried reinstaling everyting ( including steam from scratch, on separate, different partition) but same thing happened: it was doing good speed ( 4.5 MBPS) until it hit this magical limit and then it stopped.
If i click on play icon, i cant play nearly any route - they are full of errors ( all kind of scenario objects are missing etc..) altho core elements work if i manage to load scenario.

I really need help with this, and i need it fast.
I wrote last night to support, but no reply from them yet, so is there any1 with similar issue?

Do you have enough space for the sim?
Have you tried changing download regions? This will be under settings and Download + Cloud. Select one from the list. Better benefits for closer ones, but those areas which are asleep may be ideal to use for increased speed.
I'd ensure you hard disk is free from errors

HDD has more then 500Gb free, space is not the issue - i never install anything before i check space ;)
I tried to change cloud from Austria to US for example, and it required restart of steam, which i did.
Now - it is showing game as INSTALLED and ready to play ( altho ti was lacking nearly 700 Mb to be complete during first download)

I managed to run it, some scenarios work but i still have issues: London to Brighton for example is full of errors in nearly every scenario: consist loader cant load vehicles etc... Unplayable!

I actually uninstalled the whole Sim and restarted the download. Still only got to 85% and then it just stopped. I am leaving the download running overnight to see if it fully downloads.. If not I feel the whole thing is a waste of money. Is there anyway we can contact Steam or Railworks for help.. I have tried Steam Support but so far I havent received a reply after 3 days.

I left the download for about 15 hours . Then when I tried to enter the game there were no problems. But pretty amazed at the way Train Simulator appears . I have one problem my Raildriver controller no longer works although having tried several ways to get it going. Anyone got any ideas Please.

Thanks for that reply.. I started the download at 8.15pm tonight so I will leave it running all night and see the reults in the morning. No idea on the Raildriver sorry.. I dont have it!

Same problem as before.. The download has stopped at 85%. I guess I will have to order the boxed version and try and get a refund from Steam.. Seems the only solution.

I doubt that is going to fix anything. The retail version is going to be the exact same content. Plus, as soon as there is an update, you'll be right back in the same boat.

It actually got it to finish the download by clicking Play.The rest of the content loaded OK including the missing LB signals.

So you are suggesting me to delete everything and to leve it like 12 hours to download and then to try and click play?

Ok Ill try it, but i think this is LAST game i ever get over Steam , shame that they cant handle this issue or at least reply to us! Money is at their account, and i still dont have game that is playable!

No I didnt suggest deleting at all. If you get stuck at 85% downloaded click on the PLAY button and you should find the download will be completed and the sim will launch.
Although I do think Steam should make it clear that is what is needed to complete the download.

I did the play button, and the download is still stuck at 85%. The Sherman hill scerarios seem to work, but the others will not load.

Exactly - Sherman works, other routes are reporting all kind of issues at start and wont run at all...

I did get a reply from Railworks that seems ro have fixed a lot of problems.
First thing to do is Verify the Game cashe and clear the Blueprint Cashe.
If that doesnt work then a complete reinstall is necessary, but that doesnt include a full download.
Railworks is aware of the problems with NEC and are working to solve the missing consists.
I suggest you e-mail Raliworks [e-mail] if you need anymore help. Their replies are usually very quick and informative.

I have the same problems here... :/ even the with dlc it loads only to 80-85%. :/

I originally had the same problem. Then I contacted Railworks and they helped me through it. No I dont work for them!!
