Steam not working.
Sometimes when I try to open steam up, it does not matter how many times I click the steam logo cause it does not start for me. The only way I'v found to get it working again is by restarting the computer and log in again. So I was wondering if anyone else is having this frustrating problem?
This only reinforces my opinion that Steam Sucks.

Doesn't sound Steam induced, I've never heard of this before and I have been around a very long time.
Have a look in Task Manager>Processes and see if Steam is already running (as a process, but still not working). Sometimes for me it will still be running in there but no "Steam is already running" message will appear for me when I try to start it.

Though this only happens after Steam has already been running and I've restarted it due to an update or whatever.

Also, saying "Steam Sucks" while trying to get help on the Steam forum usually won't get you very far. I'm amazed this thread wasn't locked because of it tbh.
YEEEEEES, Thx for the help, Crusader. It started working again as soon as I "canceled steam process" on Task Manager.
The only reason I have steam is so I can play Team Fortress 2, I really dont care much about Steam at all except that it often dosent work when I want to do something on it. :P
You're lucky I went through the process and I still can not get steam to start up, worked all the way up to the last update.
Navigate to your steam directory under local disc and delete the .blob files.

Normally there's two of them under the names like:

QUIT STEAM FIRST
AppUpdateStats.blob
and
ClientRegistry.blob

Then re-open steam.

This will force steam to re-download missing files and possibly fix the problem you are having with it crashing.

This worked for me just now.
