i mean, games that are available on steam.. to buy on steam.. definitive list of games that are on steam, with XBL achievements..
what u linked is a list of GFWL games, some of them are on steam - yes - but this is not the list im trying to look for.. i specifically was asking for a list of games with XBL achievements that are available to buy on steam..
also, some of those games (e.g. Gotham City Impostors) is on that lsit as GFWL game, but on steam it does not link to ur xbox account.. i dont know what else are like that, which is why i ask people to tell me what games they got on steam have they personally used and can confirm that they do have xbox achievements..
sorry if this comment was very redundant, i had to dumb it down to make sure u get the point im trying to make (even if that point was already clear on the original comment - but obviously u never got it then, so yea)
ur link could have been useful, if i haven't stumbled upon it already during my search before i made this thread.. but i appreciate ur willingness to help (or ur willingness to try to prove me wrong), so thank you..
cheers..
If it's on that list and it uses steamworks (like arkham city) than you can rule it out instatly as a non-GFWL game.
Arkham City has both Steam and GFWL achievements. When you get one both pop up.
Also, I am quite sure that BioShock 1 does not have GFWL achievements.
Age of Empires Online
Batman: Arkham City; ZDPP Title
Blacklight: Tango Down
Bulletstorm; ZDPP Title. An online profile is required to run, but the game can be played offline.
Colin McRae DiRT 2
Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition; Likely an SSA Title
Dead Rising 2; ZDPP Title
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record; ZDPP Title
DiRT 3; Likely an SSA Title
F1 2010
F1 2011; Likely an SSA Title
Fable III
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet; Likely an SSA Title
Iron Brigade; Likely an SSA Title
Lost Planet 2; ZDPP Title
Microsoft Flight
Mortal Kombat Kollection; Likely an SSA Title
Operation Flashpoint: Red River; Likely an SSA Title
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City
Section 8
Section 8: Prejudice
Street Fighter X Tekken
Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition
Toy Soldiers; Likely an SSA Title
Virtua Tennis 4
Legacy Titles:
Batman: Arkham Asylum; Single-player only
Battlestations Pacific
Bioshock 2
The Club
Fallout 3; Includes All Five DLC Packs. Single-player only, can be completely ignored (no profile/activation needed).
Flatout: Ultimate Carnage
FUEL
Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition
Grand Theft Auto 4; Includes Episodes
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 2; Includes Chaos Rising
Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men
Lost Planet: Colonies Edition
Quantum of Solace
Red Faction Guerrilla
Resident Evil 5
Star Wars: Clone Wars: Republic Heroes
Stormrise
Street Fighter 4
Universe at War: Earth Assault
Vancouver 2010
All of these games are on Steam and use GFWL so would therefore have GFWL achivements. SSA means it ties to an account, Legacy means limited activations (not that that is relevant to what you asked)

My bad. Been so long since I played Bioshock it gets hard to keep track. As for the Arkham City one that's the first time I ever heard of the two co-existing in a game since steamworks forces users to download steam and Microsoft probably doesn't want steam as a required download in their store. It's surprising that a developer implemented both in one game even if it's just for the steam version.

Looks like about 51 games on Steam that give GFWL Achievements.
