So, Anyone out there with a razer hydra?

Im lookin to buy, and i figured i'd ask around if anyone likes/hates it. Thoughts? concerns?

well i have to agree with seven. the only game i know that works with it is portal 2 DLC and maybe some flight sim games.
EDIT: soz i didnt know it works on major games( The Hydra supports major games such as Civilization V, Minecraft, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and a long list of other games. Now Valve games such as Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2 and even games that have not been released, such as Counter Strike: GO, were added to support.)

oh well i guess it would be for personal preferences then. obviously KB + M would still be better on fps games but i guess if you have money and do not know what to do with it and have a huge place to stand at infront of your PC then go ahead

I love my Hydra. I currently have over 150 games and they are all available via the custom buttons that you can set. When I can't use a 360 controller I use the hydra. The hydra shows its colors on FPS games. If you are addicted to COD or even the free to play MMO FPS games offered on Steam then you can gain another step toward immersion into your games.

I can't wait for the Occlus Rift to add an even more immersive experience.

Also it does not require that you stand in front of your pc. I sit in a comfortable desk chair and have the dock in front of me. I now need some linux drivers since steam is now on Linux!!!!

Still need help? If anyone stumbles on this post... get the Sixense MotionCreator here: http://sixense.com/products/motioncreator and ditch the Razer drivers.
