Will Steam: Big Picture Require a Wired Controller?

Their trailer showed no Real life footage, so i'm confused.

Will it require a wired controller? Because i have a wireless xbox controller, a wireless Wii remote, and i don't think PS3 controllers can plug into computers (I have no idea, i don't have a PS3)

We all know PS3 controllers won't work, though. Considering they have 3 in the name.

The question is NOT if controllers work, the question is if WIRELESS controllers work.

Just to be clear here it seams you really don't understand what people are telling.

Wireless controllers are working fine. If you buy/have a wireless Logitech F710 or wireless 360 controller for example, it will work. As simple as that.

Wireless controller are not different than wired one for the applications (games, Steam).

Wireless will work fine IF you have the proper hardware. You MUST have the transmitter/reciever for the controller plugged into the computer. No, they don't come with an XBox but can be purchased seperately or in a pack with a XBox controller for PC.
