The vast majority of the time when I've added mods to a game though, I've had no problems what so ever.
Half-Life is massive with modders, don't forget that Counter Strike started off as an unofficial Half-Life mod.
thanks for your answer ReBoot.
I want to add some custom models to Resident Evil 6. Its just Leon and Ada in Resident Evil 2 Style. Resident Evil 6 itself is protected by VAC, but i´ll never going to play the game online or something. I think since i only play singleplayer and just some model files and textures need to be replaced, it should be no problem with steam isn´t it?
Sorry for all that stupid questions ;)
But i´ve never done this before on steam games, and i thought i ask the community before i do something wrong ;) I just dont want to get banned ;)
I think modding and customizing your games is it what makes PC games so unique and totaly different from console games...thats why i´m so glad that i´m a PC gamer ;)
