Mad Catz Xbox 360 fightstick not detected by Steam Big Picture!

Dudes! I got the MLG Mad Catz 360 Fightstick LE for a pretty good price but not only is it not working in big picture, but big picture isn't detecting it at all!

I downloaded and installed the latest windows xbox controller drivers and its still not working.
In the device manager it lists 3 drivers that it operates under, is there a way to disable two of them and have it only use the xbox one? Would that help somehow?

I'm running Windows 8 just fyi, as that likely makes a difference.

Also just wanted to say, the stick works great in all compatible games, it's only big picture itself that is giving me trouble.

Also not detecting when using Home Streaming. Really want to play SSFIV and Mortal Kombat on my big screen.

I'm having the same problem also windows 8 x64 and an madcatz xbox 360 fightstick, anyone have an answer? The stick is recognized by windows and i can go into game controllers under devices and the button inputs/stick movements are registering, however when I try to use it in steam I get nothing. Its not recognized as a controller under big picture mode and the inputs do nothing while in game (in both big picture mode and desktop). I've tried a regular wired xbox 360 controller and that works fine just the fightstick is not working. Anyone have any idea how to fix?

Any News on this, I'm getting some serious issues with my TE in big picture, fine in games but the inputs are all jumbled in steam, tried the button config in the setting and everything.

Hi SteamBigPicture detects correctly Xbox 360/One gamepad, Arcade Stick BUT unfortunatly not my Arcade Stick TE too 'only when they are pluged on TV', any ideas ?
