how do i use this steam wallet voucher i bought from "game" ?

hello my steam community is celebrating it's first anniversary by building a multiplex cinema in garry's mod. so i need to get set up with garry's mod.
to this end i bought a fifty pound voucher for cash from the uk retailer "game" this has come as the form of a receipt with a code on it. im wondering what payment option to select to enter the code into? also is a copy of garrys mod bundled with the counter strike source going to be enough to do the cinema thing? also i noticed a thread about their being a 7 day wait on useing steam wallet funds as a paid cash for this will that effect me ?
because if so im fairly stuck lol?

See the Top of your Steam client "Games" Select the option You require like " activate game o Steam' or " Redeem a Steam wallet code" .

yes i managed to do that my problem came with what payment option to choose there were options like visa and pay pal but nothing about receipts from retail shops?

If you bought a CD The game activation code would be inside the cover.

This is a longshot, but since no gift card/vouchers are listed as payment options perhaps you're supposed to use the "activate a product on Steam" function? Worth a try.

ahh the code is not for a game itself it is a payment code to add £50 pound to my steam funds generally?
