I'm really getting fkng tired of contracting Trojans from Steam Apps. Here's proof of them in Steam games. This is one of many my Security SW has found of late.

It would not match any known false positives because there is a high likelyhood that it has not been detected by F-Secure as being a false positive yet.

False positives are a regular occurrence - without people submitting reports to F-Secure then they would not be able to determine what is a virus and what is not.

I would think it is safe to assume it is a false positive. I only think this as you say you are tired of it happening, so that implies it has happened often and I see no other posts about viruses, so safe to say false positive.

Well, it has't happened from anywhere else but here. I am unable to scan items I download and/or, install on Steam, only after the fact. I never open anything without scanning it first. That option is not available here.

F-Secure is listed as one of the AV programs that may interfere with Steam. I would bet it is nothing more than a false positive.

Indeed, it has been known to cause some issues with Steam for years now.
