The problem with the new way of trading occurs with other people as well. Is it possible to trade directly with the person you want to trade with instead of this way. I don't know of a way to fix this sadly. A friend of mine got this problem for a week. But trading directly with an user helped.

It may get fixed by itself after a while unless someone comes on and knows an answer

when you say it 'helped' do you mean after directly trading with someone they could send trade offers normally again?

First of all, I am not out to question your aforementioned facts. However, there's a big fat chance that your accounts aren't as pristine as you think. Especially since there's so many trading problems lately. Consider the terrifyingly long list below:

  • Steam Guard not enabled
We require Steam Guard to be enabled for 15 days to help protect your items and Steam Wallet funds from being misused by somebody who may have illicitly obtained your password. If you have not had Steam Guard enabled for 15 days, you will be unable to trade or use the market. Accounts that currently have Steam Guard disabled will be unable to trade.

  • Recent password reset
If you reset your password, you will be restricted from trading for 5 days. If your account has not had any activity for more than 2 months, you will be restricted from trading for 30 days. We do this to help protect users who lose access to their email account. Note that this does not affect password changes, only password resets.

  • Newly authorized device
If you are on a newly authorize your device that has not been Steam Guarded for 15 days you will receive a 15 day restriction from trading and the Community Market. Any other devices that have been authorized for 15 days will be able to trade or use the Community Market.

  • Newly added payment method
Only items and games that are purchased with trusted payment methods can be traded immediately; otherwise there is a 7 day cool down before they can be traded. The Steam Community Market will also be unavailable during the cooldown. Any payment method that has been used on the account more than 7 days ago is considered trusted.

  • Current trade ban
You also may be unable to trade or use the market if your account has been banned from trading by Steam Support. Depending on the severity of the violation, you may receive a temporary or permanent trade ban.

  • Non-Trusted account
An account must be trusted in order to use the Community Market. To be trusted, the account must have a successful purchase older than thirty days, but not older than a year. The purchase of wallet funds qualifies for becoming trusted.

It takes only one of the items mentioned above to thwart any trading transaction you attempt.

PS Have you tried trading with someone else lately? Maybe it's not you, but your friend that has to wait either 7 or 15 days.

speaking of those 1 use items, anyone noticed that the uses counter for keys and whatnot are at zero?

Did the trader recently bought the keys? There is this weird thing going on that you can put the items in that you just bought. Even though its untradeable for 3 days. And there is an error or the trade window just closes. I heard a problem of this before.

I met the same problem today. Usually after you wait for a period of time, this would be solved. But the certain reason to this is unknown.
I keep on getting the same problem, and I still don't know what's wrong?

Yeah, same here. And it happened few days ago. Before that I was able to normally send offers. Is there a way to know if someone reported your trade offers? Because of this "Current trade ban" I keep thinking maybe someone was very unhappy with his received offer and reported me or something...?

trade offers cannot be reported

they only can be edited or rejected

But they can be flaged, so this maybe the case?
