Cannot think anything else as a issue with them theyselves, assuming you have here languages spoken by 10 million people, yet the translations are active and regularly updated.

tell you true. I maybe still will use English ver. but i would like to have a choice of choosing for example: I would like to have a choice to choose a game depend on the language they have like Arabic and see which games they are ... one time I find one game only in Arabic and the steam warn me that this game don't speak your language. even in setting to chose my 2nd speak languages i cant see Arabic. i hope i explain my point. thanks

In Steam is not Arabic and other languages, due to limited functional of services - not supported languages, with the opposite direction of writing (from right to left) and bi-directional
To add this functionality they need to re-write whole code of Steam services & software
it is a huge job, the fact, that some programmers do not work at Valve anymore, or even died

+part of the components licensed from other companies
+Valve Time

Thought about expanding the supported languages spoken long ago, but it is even on the Steam Translation Server is not added to the desired functionality

There is no single Arabic language, there are thousands of dialects

And translation of store, steam client and the services is not the most difficult task - when you get translation of Steam, you want to the translation the games themselves, and in half of the cases it is impossible in principle - the game engine does not support, the interface does not fit text, the font does not exist, etc.

in the Russian-language writing direction left to right, the size of subscript and superscript elements not much different, half the letters similar to Latin, but the amount of the transfer problem is enormous, although the work has been going on for over 6 years...

thousands of dialects, yes.No single Arabic language, no. We use the standard traditional arabic in formal settings. e.g. the news reports, speeches, all written materials from novels to textbooks (unless the exact wording is necessary e.g. quoting someone) and for translated programs on mobiles, PCs etc. All arabs understand this dialect, and while using it in an informal setting will have people laugh at you (its like using Shakespearian English in conversation), using another in its place just won't do.
So if a game is translated to Arabic, it should never use any dialect but the standard arabic.
Subtitling has to always be in standard arabic, but if you want to dub a game then depending on the setting you might want to use a reigonal dialect. Egyptian, and Syrian are universally understood because of their prominance in media. but then of course you wont want to hire thick accented voice actors. And sticking to standard arabic remains the safest bet.

Bottom line: as stated above translating a program, in this case Steam, should only be done in standard arabic, other dialects should NEVER be even considered
