Best FPS Games With Low Requirements?

I was wondering about your thoughts on the best fps game with a low system requirement.

There are a lot out there, it really depends on what you want.

Classics like DOOM are pretty awesome in my opinion, although that may be a little too far back for some players tastes.

Counter Strike/Counter Strike Source are pretty good multiplayer shooters and should run on a rig on low settings, although you should still check the requirements.

You could always try the original Half-Life if you want a good campaign, the downside you may see in that is there is no multiplayer.

Thats all I can really think of right off the top of my head, I've played a lot of FPS games but I don't remember all that many of them, especially not ones which run on lower end machines.

I would say Counter Strike Source with Garry's Mod, Day of Defeat Source, and possibly Left for Dead one or two. Not sure if Left for Dead meets your specs though.

I looking for a multiplayer based kind of game. Like call of duty.
My specs can get up to Modern Warfare 2, But mw2 is so expensive on steam?

Could also try Quake live (free again) for some arena multiplayer.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. Best MoH game IMHO. Pretty challenging at times. I don't know if there's still a multiplayer community out there, but I remember it being a lot of fun.
