How to download English Steam in a non-english speaking country

The last time i downloaded steam, i had to download a spanish version of steam because i live in Mexico, and i cannot find a way to change the language, i probably didn't do it correctly, but i followed the guide on this site, and i couldn't change it

I remember that when i had my other computer , i found an english version of Steam somewhere, but i had to erase all my current Steam Files if i wanted to use it or something, so i had to stick to spanish Steam

But that computer broke down some time ago, and the replacement should be arriving soon, and i was wondering if there was a way to completely switch steam to english, both the website, and the application

I have a same kind of problem. I tried to download steam. Then when it asked my language it automatically put it on french. What to do?

The website has a language setting under "<your name> account" in the upper right.

The Steam client software has a language setting in the Interface section.

Yeah but ok, but there seems to be another problem. It says that i have another steam.exe already running but when I looked, there was nothing, so I am not able to download steam. I know I seem to have many problem so, any help?

If it says you're already running it, then you're probably already running it (although even when set to autostart it's not completely invisible, so you should usually know that it is there). Check those tiny icons on the lower right of your desktop, including the ones in the menu that comes up when you click on the "up arrow" button thingy -- one of them should be Steam (they should all have tooltips, or just look for a black one with the Steam logo).
