APPCRASH- games keep crashing to desktop

Hello,

I'm having a problem where when playing a game, it will crash randomly to the desktop and give me an error message. This happens roughly 30 minutes or so into playing Europa IV and would happen completely randomly with Crusader Kings 2, but at least once a session (usually ending it). Oddly enoughm, the eu4 demo worked fine and I've never had an error with CivV (though I barely played it.

My little over a year old laptop is running Windows 7 64bit
AMD A6-3420M APU with Radeon 6520G 1.5 Ghz

Someone please help me, I have no idea what to do, or what is causing this.

Just got EU4 yesterday, this is so frustrating.

I have tried updating my driver, playing with steam off, I have all game and windows updates, but it still crashes. The laptop barely even has time to get hot and never got that hot when playing the demo or crusader kings, so I don't believe it's overheating. I even tried using my roommates laptop fan just in case it was overheating but it crashed all the same.
