How to Create a public Steam Community profile?

So in order to be eligible for the hardware beta it states that this is a requirement, however I have no idea how to do it. Can someone help here?

Go to your profile

- Edit Profile (right of avatar)
- My Privacy Settings tab (on the right)
- Change your "Profile Status" to public

Is there a way to delete the profile? Not deactivate or set privacy on "just me"

There is a link on left to the privacy settings. Missed it the first time too.

Go to your profile

- Edit Profile (right of avatar)

- My Privacy Settings tab (on the right)

- Change your "Profile Status" to public

and u may change it back after getting the badge.

I did this and it's saying it needs to be public in order to use outpost, so, I don't know what to do now.......

Didn't do anything for me....

I might be necroposting now... Or the hardware beta might just be closed? (the link doesn't say so however) but i'm still not meeting the requirement!
