Games won't work

None of my games will work. It started with just Steam, but now none of my games will work. I reinstalled unity web player and java, installed directx 9, and it still won't work. Does anyone knw what's wrong?

All of my games worked fine a week ago.

Did you check for viruses, bots, worms, ect..?

You are aware Java is on the list of software you are not to allow updates for the past 5 months now. They were hacked and the updates always come bot loaded. And no they haven't been able to fix it yet. The last update was supposed to fix it, but all it did was whittle down the amount of bots that it came with.

Had my printer hosed by them last month.

Look for bugs, clean your system, and load up restore to a date prior to your issues.

How old is your computer? Direct X 9 is really old and outdated.
