Adding disk games to steam
Okay so i have c&c 3 tiberium wars on disk but the disk is heavily scratched due to my little brother always leaving games on the desks is there a way i can download the game from steam using the serial code i got with the game to activate it? As i am on a new computer and it wont install from the disk.

No, retail copies of the game will not work with Steam.

Do you know the serial code? If so, you can download an .ISO off the Internet and just use your key on there.

Oh wow thanks a lot and yes i do know my serial code I'm going to download it now and again thanks a'lot. :)

Command and Conquer retail keys can't currently be activated on Steam, that's why I suggested to download an .ISO seeing as his DVD is scratched.

Not possible currently, and with EA being EA at the moment the only place you can probably activate it right now is Origin.

If you've activated it then check Origin again.
