Does Psychonauts work on Windows 7?

Has anyone played the Steam version of Psychonauts on Windows 7 64 bit and its worked??

I've just heard it has a few problems with Windows 7 , I can get the GOG version which states it will work on Windows 7 I'm guessing they've patched it in some way?

It's on offer here so I want to buy it.. but the GOG version may work better?

I just bought it recently and I have not had any problems with the game during my playthrough. I do not think that there is a difference between the two besides Steam being cheaper so I would get it here.
