Sints Row IV Error - "Failed to start game (app already running)"

I cant open Saints Row IV :( Been playing fine up until now (on 80%) and now suddenly it wont open on Steam - I get the error "Failed to start game (app already running)"



I have tried the following:



Deleted Inuguration Station

Restarted Steam and my PC numerous times

Deleted the 'appcache' Folder in my Steam Folder

Checked my task manager - it doesnt appear there

Right clicked on the game in Steam - properties - Local Files - Verify integrty of game Cache

Re-installed Direct-X

Re-installed vcredist



Have no other ideas and I really wanna play - Im hooked and need my daily fix Cry



If anybody has any suggestions for me please please please help

That would help. I can't delete even when steam is not running. I get a message about folder being in use
