RGSC stopped working for GTA IV

So I got GTA IV as a gift a week ago and I put in both discs and installed it no problem. I played single player for a couple hours then stopped playing for a week. Fast forward to where are now, when I turn on my computer a window pops up saying RGSC has stopped working and it starts looking for a solution. My RGSC is broken and without it I can't
PLay GTA IV. I have no idea how to fix it, and I don't want to play anything else. Another problem is, I went to the rockstar games folder in my program files (x86) and say a RGSC folder so I thought I'd delete it and download it again. Well I don't know how to download it again, so I went to my recycling bin, got the folder and put it back, now it has a new name! Idk what to do! I JUST WANT TO PLAY GTA IV. Other people have sent me links and other stuff and I have no idea of what I'm looking at. I will love you forever if you explain to me step by step in clear English on how to fix my RGSC. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!
