Can't install game: Invalid path
After fixing a problem that didn't let me redeem a game, now I came into a new problem. When I try to install one of those games it says "invalid install path". I checked with my other computer and it's the exact same, "A:\Steam" which is the drive where Steam, origin and other games and the like are installed.

I currently have 59 games installed with steam according to info at settings> downloads> steam library folders and don't have a single problem with any of them, but it really doesn't let me install my humble bundle games.

Any help?

Thanks in advance

If you haven't figured it out yet, restart Steam and it will install.

I might be incorrect, but some people've reported that the key on Steam won't simply work (redeems but won't play) - it being in beta phase and thus being more of a 'pre-order' kind of a thing.

You could download the DRM-free version of Eets from the Humble -page and play that as a non-Steam game meanwhile, while I know that doesn't sound nearly as pleasant.

restarting steam as administrator worked for me
Maybe it will help someone.
I was moving Spore, and first I moved classic Spore, but trying to move DLC's like Galactic adventures gave me same error. Finds out steam automatically moved both game and DLC's, so all I had to do was uninstall and reinstall in folder I wanted, and instead of installing steam verifies files that are already there. But you'll still need an internet fort verification process.

"Invalid path" error occurs when the destination already has a folder for that game (bug).
Go to destination folder and delete the folder with the game name:
<Destination Folder>\steamapps\common\<Game Name>
Then try to move files again.
(Running steam as administrator may also be required.)

Thank you, why is this not in a guide.
