Change your download region.
Steam -> Settings -> Downloads -> Download Region
Restart Steam and try again.
The fastest download region might not be the closest one to you. It depends on a variety of factors.
I guess the download speed isn't the problem.
Maybe a bug or something?
When you say "tried several times", are you changing your region each time you try?
Also, check your hard drive. Ensure you have lots of free space.
Doubt it's a bug or we'd have a bunch of reports about this problem.
Yes, I change it every time I try.
I even uninstalled steam 2 times.
My HDD has still about 90 GB left, I dont think that's the problem.
I googled it, and there were some people heving this problem too. Not sure what happend with them though (the questions were unsolved).
The strange thing is, other games are installing and running perfectly. Except for GMod.
Will I ever be able to play GMod?
