Bandits are crybabies and won't fight me.

For some reason out of the blue, all bandit factions stopped attacking me and my followers but will still attack my horses. Sometimes when I walk up to them they say things like " I hope your not planning to attack me again" , " I don't want to be hurt again ! " , " AAGH ! NO MORE ! DON'T HURT ME AGAIN ! " or " Look, I don't want to get into another brawl with you." If they're not whining they're just passing the time of day with a " Hi there " or " Can I help you ? " The bandit at the base of Valthiem Towers will confront me and say something about how funny Iwill look with my guts spilled on the ground then walks away and leans against the tower. I've tried a few faction console commands using negative numbers to try and get them to hate me again but no dice. It's no fun going to Treva's Watch if the bandits treat you like a pal and let you clean out their chests and pickpocket them at will. Help ! I'm at the end of my rope and don't know what to do short of starting a new game. Some constructive help please.

Sounds like a mod has messed something up. Look at what mods you have installed and see if any interact with NPCs at all.

You'll have better luck with this by posting in the Skyrim forums.

I think it is weird how some mobs are really weak and even my horse beats them, and then I go inside some fort and I have to reload ten times and then give up.

Tnanks Laptop65, It was one of my mods. I uninstalled it went out and killed some bandits who finally attacked me like they should. Re-installed the same mod and tried the bandits again. They attacked aggressivly and died horribly, all is well in Skyrim once again

lol, you just kill them. you kill one of them. rest will swarm upon you. :)
