If Steam won't connect, try exiting Steam, then powering down your Modem/Router, wait 1-2 mins, then power them back on again and then wait for your network connection to get re-established.
I dont have a modem, and i tried removing my network cable and exiting steam several times, and useless... its not an internet problem, everything works except market and inventory..
Try using different DNS servers. 310 errors are usually associated with DNS, redirects, and other name-resolution issues.
I have the problem only on this account, if I log on my 2nd account the problem doesnt exist, so it cant be a dns problem
Can you access Steam Market through web browser?
Yes I can, I cant access it through steam only, same for my inventory, i cant see what i have in inventory either, cause I get that error
That box that is provided by your ISP is a modem. It might be a Modem+Router all-in-one; it's still a modem.
Cycling the power on it can easily resolve a simple DNS issue. Just do not cycle the power on/off too quickly or the ISP connection might not sync properly.
If u launch Steam and then Steam Client says you are "Offline" click your user name in upper right hand corner, and click Change User. Then click yes to log-off. Then re-enter your Username + PW and logon again. This often resolves the issue.
I dont have a modem/router(no box), i have cable fiber internet. 100mbps/sec. never had internet problems, as i said on my second account i have no problem in accessing its inventory and market, but on this account i cannot, and its same internet. Any other sollutions you might have?
It might not be in the same room as you. It may be in a different room or basement, but again you do have one, trust me.
All ISP have the ability to run into a sync issue from time to time, and in such a case, cycling the power on the modem can resolve this.
U can also try releasing/renewing your Network Adapter's IP address.
First exit Steam and any other internet apps u have running.
Then...
Click Start Menu > type CMD > Right click the one that show up in menu and click Run As Admin. When Command Prompt window opens, type IPCONFIG /RELEASE enter
Wait til it's finished, then type IPCONFIG /RENEW
Once finished, launch Steam again.
dude, the point is THAT ITS NOT AN INTERNET PROBLEM, as i said it works on my 2nd account with SAME INTERNET, i can access market and inventory on it, but i cant on this acount, which i use the most, do u have any sollutions or no?
it looks like this account got bugged or something after the trade failed, and as u can see other people have this problem, there must be a sollution. PS: I reinstalled steam aswell
Ok, so you can't access Market and your Inventory through the Steam Client but can through a web-browser.
Are there any other broken bits in the Steam Client? Can you access Discussions? Steam Store? Your profile?
no other broken bits, only those 2: market and inventory, and I reinstalled steam aswell, and no luck :'(
Once logged into SteamPowered.com in a browser, mouse-over your account name @ top of website and click Inventory.
