Is my graphics card/GPU broken?

Ok, so I play my games on an HP Envy 14 laptop, I've got 6 gigs of system ram, 1 gig dedicated VRAM, and an intelcore i5 processor. My computer uses two separate GPUs, one that's powersaving for everyday stuff, and one that's high performance for games and such. Up till now, everything's worked fine, but yesterday when I was playing Castlevania: LOS ultimate edition, I noticed that my textures were not rendering properly, and they were really low-res. Thinking this was a problem with that game in particular, I decided to try loading another game, in this case, Dishonored. Again I noticed, the game was forcibly rendering low-res textures, even though I have the settings set to high and have never had problems with it before. I also tried playing Left 4 Dead 2 and Skyrim, and again, was forcibly loaded in with low-res textures despite the settings I had preset for these games. I don't know how to fix this and I'm starting to freak out. What should I do? Is my card broken? What in the world is going on?
