My games lag every few seconds after a few minutes in-game
I really need help with this, i've tried a lot to solve this, but i couldn't, it has turned out to be frustrating, and i desperately need a solution.

It all started some days ago, i opened up Saints Row IV with Game booster, at first it was running smoothly as always, but then it started to lag every three seconds, difficulting the gameplay, making it almost impossible to play.

I think this is very weird, since my computer is pretty powerful.

I tried to install the lastest Graphic Cards driver, the only thing that did is that now the games lag after 10 seconds instead of three.

I also tried to use Malwarebytes, Ccleaner, Advanced SystemCare 6, HDD Defrag, etc...
But nothing solved this problem. I really need help.

My system info (Purchased in 2010):
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate - 64 Bits
Processor: AMD Phenom 2 6x cores 2.5 Ghz
Graphic Card: Sapphire Radeon HD6570 1GB DDR3
RAM: 16 Gb
HDD: 1Tb total disc space, 113 Gb available.

Just 18 minutes ago I was playing CSS and I suddenly just lag or my screen freezed and I never had that but rebooting my computer did the job, I think.

Did you resolve this? I had the exact same issue with the same processor and Radeon 6950. I eventually found a very unexpected solution. If you still have the issue I would be glad to help.

Seems like you've resolved it but I'll post my solution here anyways, maybe it'll help somebody. The one 100% consistent solution I found to this problem was this;
- start the computer
- put the computer in sleep mode
- resume and play and these lag bursts every few seconds are gone

This I found out by chance after way too many hours of troubleshooting and monitoring GPU voltages than I care to admit.

I solved it.
It turned out to be a hardware problem. My CPU fan was really dusty an dirty, which caused it to not rotate properly, i just cleaned it well, and added a couple drops of oil on the fan, it has been running smoothly ever since.
