Cs 1.6 help video settings

i put my video setting to wide screen and now i cant change it back because i cant see the other stuff like its zoomed in to close i tried to go to properties and click on launch settings and stuff but it didnt work idk it says you must be a advance user to use this -.- help?

just go in WINDOW MODE and you can change settings afterwards from NORMAL to WIDESCREEN, go to LAUNCH Options put -window

If what Homemade wrote didn't help, just re-install the game. 1.6 is a quick re-install.

thanks homemade now i can play i fixed it so i put it back to normal but i need to ask you something how do i switch it back to how it was like cus when i put -window the cs isnt like full screen its like how ur on youtube and stuff i can minimize it i hate it like that how do i change it back?

so you go to steam click on libary right click on cs then it says properties then u go to tht after click on launch settings then u will see a bar type -window after u do that it will still be in widescreen but u can change it! then u change it to normal then if u want it back to full screen do the same thing but type -full then u load up cs then BAM ur done

go to steam library --->right click on counter strike 1.6---->properties---->Set Launch options------> now type the prefered resolution -w [...] -h [...]
