I cant get my game key

I bought a gift pass of Battlefield bad Company 2 off a guy for 4 keys and now my game serial key thing doesnt even pop up. That window comes up and it says its requesting my key but it never comes up. im getting super pissed cause i want to play this game but i cant do multiplayer without the key. WTF DO I NEED TO DO?>!

well..
go to your library: then got then click once on "Battlefield bad Company 2": then on the right side u see the icon etc some news about the game the look more to the right u see a menu pick: cd-key and it should display ur steam key :)

Nope it doesnt work. Trust me thats what ive been doing... It just says Requesting Key.. Never ends...

try the first solution :

Note:
If you do not see the CD Key for Bad Company 2 or an expasion that you have purchased, verify your game cache and try again.

Write your expansion/addon CD Key down and try the following:
Launch Bad Company 2
Click the "Login" button in the upper-right corner of the main menu screen
Log in to your EA / Bad Company 2 account
Click Multiplayer
Click Redeem Code

i assume this will work for the base bad company 2 too.


otherwise try the last solution and regedit and see if u can get to cd-key i know u can get cd-keys for other steam games like this so it might work for bfbc2

I have verified the game cache t2 times now. One normally and one while running as administrator. Does nothing. Where would i get the ''expansion/addon CD key'' as you say in the 3rd paragraph... Also what do you mean in the last paragraph.
