USB headset mic not working

Hey guys, I have a USB headset, the Razer SWTOR headset to be specific. I can hear everything and everyone just fine but Steam and none of the games run by it will detect my mic. It works in vent, mumble, teamspeak, and skype just fine. When I test it out in windows it also works. I've tried setting it as the default device and the default communications device but it doesn't make a difference. I've tried disabling all other devices too, still nothing.

I remember when I first got this headset back in March I set it up through Steam's settings and it worked just fine. Of course it wasn't until SC Blacklist came out that I had a reason to use them, and now they won't work.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately, I never figured it out. It seems like it would work once in a blue moon, when it felt like it. I ended up bying some Turlte Beaches for my consoles and using them on my PC as well.
