can anyone tell me how much a decant gaming computer would cost in pounds

around 900-1000€ but i think pounds will be quiet similar....

It depends what you define as "decent". It will cost as much as you're willing to spend.

Mine cost £650 last August and plays pretty much everything in my Steam library on max graphics settings at 1680x1050 resolution nice and smoothly (and should do the same at 1920x1080 when I finally upgrade to a new monitor)
As Canti said, though, it does depend on your definition of "decent". As a (very) rough rule of thumb, I'd say £500 really ought to get you something that can play any modern game on at least low-med settings, and £700 should get you something that can manage high-max on anything except poorly-optimised rubbish. Do make sure you shop around, though.
